"Mr. Sutanto from Emtek Group, he is the new Chairperson who has just been appointed for MMA Global Indonesia, thank you, Mr. Sutanto," said Shanti at the MMA Impact Indonesia 2024 event at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Friday (15/11).

Shanti explained that Sutanto Hartono has been part of the MMA Global Indonesia council for the last six years. His role in the marketing sector in Indonesia is very significant.

"Mr. Sutanto has been part of the council since we were established six years ago, and he has played a significant role alongside other council members in seeing how MMA Global Indonesia develops and has been very helpful in establishing this association," she concluded.

2. Replaced Ira Noviarti

Sutanto Hartono also delivered his remarks as the President Director of Emtek. In his new position as Chairman of MMA Global Indonesia, he replaces Ira Noviarti, who has served since 2021.

"As Shanti has mentioned, I have just been appointed as Chairman of MMA Global Indonesia. Actually, I was surprised, so I apologize if I seem to have been suddenly appointed as chairman replacing Mrs. Ira, who previously served as chairwoman," he said.

Sutanto stated that there is a main focus that he will carry forward. This includes the implementation of marketing strategies aimed at achieving a higher level.

"How can we build the capabilities of Indonesians as a whole to be able to implement marketing ideation and execute marketing to a higher level," explained Sutanto Hartono.

"We hope that Indonesia can become more recognized in the international world because we believe Indonesia has great ideation, extraordinary facilities, and exceptional capabilities to realize everything," he continued.

Sutanto Hartono realizes that in the coming year of 2025, there will be various challenges that must be faced. To address this, he sees opportunities in the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the marketing world.

"We are currently entering the end of the year; we will soon be closing out the year 2025. I am sure the complexity will increase. There are so many new things surrounding us," he revealed.
