Vincent Verhaag Reveals Jessica Iskandar's Grief After Her Father's Death

Kapanlagi.com - Vincent Verhaag expressed his sorrow over the passing of Hardy Iskandar, the father of his wife, Jessica Iskandar. Hardy Iskandar passed away on Saturday (28/12/2024), and the plan is for the body to be cremated on January 1, 2025.

"Of course it’s sad for everyone, losing a family member, especially a father, right?" Vincent said when met at the Sentosa Gatot Subroto Funeral Home on Sunday (29/12/2024).

Vincent remembered Hardy as a hardworking person dedicated to his family. For him, the deceased was an inspiring figure for all of his children.

"A person who can be said to be patient, hardworking, his duty is done," Vincent reminisced.

1. The Figure of a Hard Worker

According to Vincent, Hardy successfully raised five children well. He is also grateful that Hardy had the chance to witness Jessica's happiness as the youngest child who is now married.

"He has five children, all grown up, right? Jess, the youngest, is now married to me and has three children," he continued.

For Vincent, Hardy is a fighter who never gives up in facing life. He described the late Hardy as a father who could be an idol for his family.

"He has also met his third child. So he is indeed a fighter, truly not someone who gives up easily, a hard worker, you could say an idol," he said.

2. Doesn't Want to Discuss Details

When asked about Hardy's struggle against his illness, Vincent left that explanation to Jessica's immediate family.

"Well, maybe it's the immediate family that should answer that. When it comes to dad, perhaps the immediate family can answer," he said.

Vincent was also reluctant to discuss further about the late Hardy's last messages. He suggested that those questions should be directed to each family member.

"Just ask each other later," he said briefly.

However, Vincent cannot forget the precious memories with Hardy, especially during his wedding with Jessica. He remembers how the late Hardy gave his full blessing to his youngest daughter.

"I have many memories. Especially when I married his youngest child, Jess. We talked a lot, it was a moment of giving away a daughter to her husband," Vincent concluded.
