The social media world, especially TikTok, has recently been buzzing with the emergence of a new 'couple' being matched by netizens. They are Fujianti Utami Putri, or commonly known as Fuji, and musician Reza Arap. This matchmaking even gave birth to the combined name "Furap" that went viral in various video posts.

This phenomenon eventually reached Fuji's ears. When met after attending an event, the sister-in-law of the late Vanessa Angel was immediately bombarded with questions by the media regarding the matchmaking that is currently trending.

Initially, Fuji seemed to try to politely avoid the situation. She changed the subject because another press conference was about to begin. However, the curious journalists continued to press her for a response.

Realizing she could no longer avoid it, the 23-year-old woman finally gave an answer. Not in an annoyed tone, Fuji instead showed a mature attitude while thanking for the attention given, but with one special request.

"So I thank you, it’s okay. If I’m okay, but please don’t tag me, okay?" she said when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Thursday (2/4/2026).

This request seemed to be Fuji's way of setting boundaries gently. She does not prohibit the creativity of netizens, but she also needs personal space so as not to be continuously flooded with notifications regarding the matchmaking.

When asked further whether this matchmaking has gone too far to the point of needing legal action, Fuji casually dismissed it. He emphasized that he is not too concerned about it. "No, I'm just slow," he said briefly.

As is known, this matchmaking began from the interaction and closeness between Fuji and Reza Arap in several contents and events. Many netizens feel that the two have a suitable chemistry, especially after Fuji broke up with Thariq Halilintar and Arap officially divorced from Wendy Walters.

However, when bombarded with deeper questions about his feelings and how his relationship with Arap is currently, Fuji chose not to comment further and ended the interview session.
