Visit KPAI, Sarwendah's Party Requests the Polemic for the Child to End Soon

The Sarwendah party also claimed to have submitted a number of documents and evidence to the KPAI commissioners. These pieces of evidence will later be analyzed by the agency before determining further steps.

"Our arrival began with a complaint letter that we made on the 21st, yes. Then we also made an online complaint on the 22nd at 10:00 AM. Yes, what we reported was related to custody and child support, yes. What is the matter? Uh, everything that we have felt since the beginning of the marriage until now, yes. What we complained about is all for the sake of the child, not for any interests other than ours, yes, related to child support," said Chris Sam Siwu.

In addition to KPAI, the Sarwendah party had also previously made a complaint to the National Commission on Violence Against Women. According to attorney Abraham Simon, this step is the right of every citizen to seek protection through the appropriate agency.

Abraham emphasized that the main goal to be achieved is not to win the public debate, but to ensure that the interests of children remain the top priority in every ongoing process.

"We are just citizens, yes. We are just exercising our rights. Besides us as women, we also go to the National Commission on Violence Against Women, which stated that further consultations also lead to complaints at the National Commission on Violence Against Women. This is the same, we also filed a complaint, yes, for whom? For the children. So what we are protecting is the interest of the children," said Abraham Simon.

On the same occasion, Chris Sam Siwu also expressed his hope that both parties can find common ground. According to him, children are the most affected parties if the conflict continues without resolution.

He added that his side has invited the relevant parties to meet and discuss directly. The meeting is hoped to be a way towards a better resolution without having to continue displaying the disputes to the public.

"We have sent out the invitations for the meeting. Whether they attend or not, we leave it to them. Yes. If they really can't make it, we will be very disappointed. But we hope they can attend the meeting, yes. Because we are not only inviting representatives to representatives, but also clients to clients.
