Voicing the Dangers of Covid-19, the Film 'IBUKU YANG CEREWET' Collaborates with Atta Halilintar and Uya Kuya

Kapanlagi.com - Gilang Widya Permana, owner of Juragan 99, made a short film titled MY ANNOYING MOTHER. The film reminds of the danger of the Covid-19 pandemic that still threatens until now.

To convey the message in the film, Gilang collaborated with 19 influencers from Indonesia to urge the public to follow Covid-19 health protocols, including wearing masks.

The 19 influencers include Atta Halilintar, Uya Kuya, Millen Cyrus, Brisia Jodie, Dimas Ahmad, and Ghea Indrawari. Symbolically, Gilang and Sandy Purnamasari put masks on these 19 influencers.

1. Personal Experience

Gilang Widya Permana said that the making of the short film is based on his personal story of losing his beloved mother due to Covid-19.

"So the foundation of our making of this short film is because my mother passed away from being exposed to Covid-19 last year," said Gilang Widya Pramana during the launch of the short film Ibuku Yang Cerewet (My Talkative Mother), in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, recently.

2. Many People are Still Negligent

Gilang admitted feeling saddened by the fact that many people are still negligent about health protocols, even though many have become victims of Covid-19.

"Because we feel that the use of masks in society is still being disregarded. That is the main objective of this film," continued Gilang.

In addition to the film, the loss of his mother also inspired Gilang to create the KosmeMask mask, which is designed specifically to provide better protection against viruses, comfortable to wear, and anti-acne.
