She explained that at that moment, she and Anang did not walk out, but she did request for the music to be turned off and did not want to continue the performance.
"I went to the back because I asked for the song to be stopped, because it was already weird," Ashanty explained.
"It's not a walk out, because I asked for the song to be turned off, so why would I stay there? Since I asked for the song to be turned off, I went to the back, it's better to stop than to stay there, even weirder," she continued.
When asked further, Ashanty explained that on that night she and her team went straight home. She explained that after the incident, her team did indeed have a meeting with the committee.
"Yes, so last night my team, because we went straight home, because I'm going to Korea tonight," she said.
In addition, Ashanty actually asked the committee to clarify various negative public assumptions.
"My team was still meeting with them until late at night, please ask them to at least clarify so that we can be on the same page," she said.
