Wanda Hamidah Apologizes on Behalf of Her Father, Her Tears Broke at the Funeral

Wanda announced her father's passing through social media, expressing her sadness in a lengthy statement.

The post was accompanied by a photo of Wanda kissing her late father's forehead. The body was immediately prayed over after the Maghrib prayer at Baitul Muttaqin Mosque, Jl. Rawasari Timur III No. 36, Central Jakarta, which is near the deceased's home.

The burial also took place shortly after the body was prayed over at TPU Karet Bivak, Block AA1 Plot 107. In her post, Wanda Hamidah also requested for anyone who knew her father to open the doors of forgiveness wide.

"Please open the doors of forgiveness as wide as possible for our late father, if there are any debts of the deceased, please contact us," she expressed.

Many expressed their condolences and prayed for the best for the deceased in the comments section, including Andy Rif and Bella Fawzi, the children of Ikang Fawzi.

The burial process also left a deep sorrow. After participating in the prayer for her father at the mosque, Wanda Hamidah accompanied her father to his final resting place. The senior artist, who is now involved in politics, could not hold back her tears while wiping her father's gravestone.

"I ask all family members, friends of my father, please forgive my father's mistakes. Both intentional and unintentional," said Wanda Hamidah at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta on Friday (20/2/2025).
