One of the accounts that uploaded the pictures is @lambe_danu. In the post, netizens believe that the person wearing the veil is Wanda Hara. Netizens then criticized Wanda, who is originally a man, for wearing a veil like a woman.

"Even the closest friends should be clear, especially in a religious lecture, about separating the male and female rows," wrote one netizen.

"They have separate sections for women and men, so why did he mix with the women by wearing a veil? What is he thinking," added another netizen.

In response to this, the study committee of Ustaz Hanan Attaki has decided to speak up. Through their Instagram account @ayah_amanah, the committee explained that they did not know that the person behind the veil was actually a man.

“In response to the viral incident, we apologize for any inconvenience during the event. As the committee and Ustaz Hanan Attaki, we did not know who was behind the veil. We only found out that the person is a man,” wrote the Instagram account, on Sunday (21/7/2024).

2. Ensure No Mixing

The committee then confirmed that Wanda Hara did not join the other female congregants. It was known that Wanda only sat in the corner area of the female congregation and did not mix with them. The committee also ensured that Wanda did not enter the women's restroom.

“And after our investigation, we found out that she sat in the corner of the female row, not mingling in the middle of the female participants,” said the committee.
