Wardatina Mawa Firmly Rejects Polygamy, Insanul Fahmi Still Confused About the Reason

The desire of Insanul Fahmi to maintain the integrity of his household seems to clash with the principles of his first wife. Wardatina Mawa is reported to be firmly rejecting polygamy. She chooses the option to separate if Insanul continues to maintain his relationship with Inara Rusli.

Mawa's strong stance is certainly a heavy blow for Insanul. He must face the reality that his dream of uniting both of his wives may be difficult to realize. Mawa's rejection is said to be final and non-negotiable.

Interestingly, Insanul admits he is not yet fully aware of the underlying reason behind Mawa's strong rejection. When asked by the media, he provided an answer that implied his ignorance or perhaps confusion regarding his wife's stance.

"Not yet, not yet," Insanul replied briefly when met at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters in South Jakarta on Wednesday (21/01/2026).

Insanul's ignorance may be due to a lack of deep communication among them. The escalating conflict has made the discussion space very limited and full of emotions.

Mawa's cold attitude was also evident during the previous mediation meeting. It was reported that Mawa turned away and was reluctant to interact much with Insanul, showing how deep the emotional wounds he felt were.

Despite that, Insanul's side did not give up. They continued to seek ways to soften Mawa's heart through various means, including meeting the conditions set forth.

"The important thing is how he can make Mawa's heart soften again. That is what matters most," said Tommy Tri Yunanto, Insanul's legal counsel, offering support.

Now, the ball is in Insanul's court. He must choose between maintaining his desire for polygamy or letting go of one for the sake of the integrity of his household with his first wife.

His legal team is also providing full support for Insanul to return to Mawa. Tommy emphasized that his client's main priority right now is his legitimate wife.

"Legitimate wife, yes, legitimate wife, yes. Legitimate wife," Tommy firmly concluded the discussion.
