"My safe is a hidden safe in the wardrobe. So they didn't take anything else, they focused on taking the safe. It seems difficult because there were marks on the bed underneath. But it's impossible for one person to lift the safe because it's heavy, right?" said Terry Putri in Pejaten, South Jakarta, on Sunday (2/5).

1. Keeping Belongings in a Safe for 20 Years

What makes her sad is that for 20 years she has always kept her valuable belongings in the safe. Starting from jewelry and money.

“I'm the type of person who doesn't like to wear jewelry. So if I have jewelry, I put it in the safe. Then when I work abroad, I save the rest of the money and some dollars in the safe. I've been collecting these items for about 20 years, and then they suddenly disappeared in a very short time,” she said sadly.

“What's important is that there are three bags entrusted there, one bag contains my gold jewelry, one bag contains my sister's jewelry, and most importantly, one bag contains my late mother's jewelry. So I took good care of them. There are several carat diamonds that I really cherish and they cost around 350 million (IDR),” she continued.

2. Loss of Billions of Rupiah?

When asked about the amount of loss she had, Terry Putri dare not guess. When the police asked for a list of missing items, she still felt weak.

“Still weak. In the morning, the police came asking for a detailed list of missing items. I said, 'Oh, I can't make a list yet, let alone include the value.' I dare not value it, maybe (billions),'" Terry Putri concluded.
