Kapanlagi.com - Unconsciously, Ramadan has entered the halfway point and is now entering the moment of Nuzulul Quran Night. Ustaz Solmed and his friend, Ahmad Zaki Iskandar, have their own way of celebrating it, namely by distributing wheelchairs to people with disabilities.

For the past 5 months, Ahmad Zaki has distributed 10 wheelchairs through the Golkar Peduli program. Last Friday (30/4), Ustaz Solmed and Ahmad Zaki symbolically presented a wheelchair.

"Yes, earlier we symbolically gave a wheelchair to one person because of the pandemic, so we couldn't give to many people. This Ramadan is the time to share and motivate people to rise during the pandemic. Today is a special day for us to strengthen our religious and social connections," said Ustaz Solmed at Al Akbar Mosque, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Friday (30/4/2021).

"Today's agenda is the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran Night at the Golkar building and we invited Ustaz Solmed to give a sermon, as part of our efforts to spread our message in the midst of the pandemic. This is our way of getting closer to our Creator," added Ahmad Zaki.

1. Active Sharing Throughout the Pandemic

Through his program, Ahmad Zaki not only distributes wheelchairs, but also various other beneficial needs for those in need. His social actions have been carried out for the past year during the pandemic.

"Not only wheelchairs, at the Golkar sharing event and during the past year, we have distributed masks, assisted medical personnel, and helped the community, including providing wheelchairs. Because of illness, they have difficulty walking and become paralyzed, and we fulfill those needs. At least for the past year, we have been active and sharing during the pandemic," explained Ahmad Zaki.

2. Ustaz Solmed's Prayer

Ustaz Solmed also praised the noble heart of Ahmad Zaki for continuously sharing and helping others. He also prayed for his friend to be able to continue giving charity in this Ramadan.

"Let us pray that Mr. Zaki has abundant sustenance. If he has abundant sustenance, he can continue to share. It is truly noble to help our brothers and sisters who cannot walk during this Ramadan," praised Ustaz Solmed for Ahmad Zaki.
