While Crying, Aghnia Punjabi Admits She Cannot Forgive the Nurse who Abused Her Child

She admitted that she cannot forgive the babysitter's sadistic act of abusing her eldest daughter.

Aghnia spoke accompanied by her husband, Reinukky Abidharma. Her face looked weary and her eyes were swollen from crying. For a moment, her words were organized, but the anger in her heart made her unable to hold back her tears.

"This perpetrator worked with me for a year, very politely, very politely. During this year, there were some suspicious things that I noticed, such as signs of pinching, but I saw the nurse behaving very politely, so I still trusted her," Aghnia recounted at the Mapolresta Malang Kota, on Saturday (30/03).

"But it was proven today, and previously, I had experienced the same incident (with another nurse) but I did not report it to the police. I forgave her. So this time, I cannot forgive her. I leave it to the authorities," she added.

Aghnia recounted that her child was assaulted by her nurse on Thursday (28/03) early morning. The victim was assaulted for about an hour, resulting in bruises and scratch marks on several parts of his body.

"I really hope that the perpetrator will be punished to the fullest extent of the law, because if you media people see the CCTV footage, my child was tortured for more than an hour, without mercy, tortured in the sense that my child ran here and there being chased until he was almost dead, my 3-year-old child had no one to help," she said.

Aghnia said that her daughter was prohibited from leaving the room after the assault. Even during the incident, the other occupants of the house were in the basement, so they were not aware of what had happened.

"To cover it all up, Sus let my child be locked inside the room," she stated firmly.

Aghnia herself was in Jakarta with her husband for work. She hurried back as soon as she received information about the victim's condition based on the photos sent by the perpetrator.
