Kapanlagi.com - The Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) event will once again take place from 2 to 4 August 2024. It can be confirmed that JFC 2024 will be enlivened by many famous artists, including those who have gone international.

This was announced by renowned makeup artist and JFC organizer, Bubah Alfian, after the Scent Store launch at Plaza Indonesia on Monday (26/2). However, Bubah cannot reveal the Indonesian artists who have gone international and will liven up JFC this year.

"Last year, we brought in dozens of celebrities and thousands of spectators, and this year there will be Indonesian artists who have gone international," said Bubah Alfian.

"There are probably two or more artists who have gone international. It's between them, but it's still a secret, we'll announce it later," he added.

1. International Artists Attend JFC

As we know, after the pandemic, JCF showed its fangs again. Last year alone, after successfully being held in Indonesia, Bubah brought JFC to New York, United States. This is a pride for Indonesia.

The presence of JFC last year in New York is also thanks to the role of Alex Tsai as the Founder and CEO of Scent Store, who also supports the JFC 2024 event this year.

"Our presence in New York last year and the presence of Indonesian artists who go international at JFC this year are thanks to Mister Alex," said Bubah.

2. Having a Unique Concept

For Alex, his involvement is inseparable from his interest in JFC, which has a unique concept. That's what made him willing to help bring JFC to New York and be involved this year.

"The first time I saw JFC, I felt that this event is really beautiful, that's why I want the world to know about it, so I brought it to New York," explained Alex.

3. Algorithm Theme

This year JFC adopts the Algorithm theme. Through this theme, Bubah wants to show the journey of JFC over the past decades, including the time of setbacks after losing Dynand Fariz and the pandemic. Dynand Fariz is the initiator and founder of JFC Center.

"This year will showcase JFC's 22-year journey. This is the time for us, who are involved in JFC, to come together again after the absence of Mr. Fariz and the pandemic," he concluded.
