Witness in the Lolly Case Answered 20 Questions, Nikita Mirzani's Side: She Knows the Events from March to May

On Friday (8/11/2024) afternoon, a witness with the initial A, who is claimed to know the events that took place in the apartment from March to May 2024, appeared at the South Jakarta Metro Police to provide a statement. According to Fahmi Bachmid, witness A has been interrogated since the beginning of the case and this time appears for the continuation of the investigation process.

"This is a witness examination, not an addition; this is a witness who has been examined from the start. Earlier, he was questioned in the investigation process, receiving about 20 questions as a witness with the initial A," said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Police, Friday (7/11/2024).

He mentioned that witness A received around 20 questions from the investigative team regarding the incidents that occurred in the apartment during those months. Witness A is known to play an important role in this case because he often communicated and accompanied the victim.

"He knows, he communicates, he accompanies, but during the time of the incident from March to May, he did not reside in the apartment,"

Furthermore, Fahmi revealed that witness A provided a detailed account of the events that occurred in the apartment, starting from March, April, to the first week of May. According to him, the testimony of witness A has given a complete picture of the series of events.

"The witness narrated the events in the apartment starting from March, April, and the last in the first week of May," Fahmi stated.

2. Express Appreciation to the Witness

Fahmi also expressed his appreciation to witness A for being willing to provide testimony for the sake of justice for Lolly. Witness A is reported to have frequently received phone calls from the victim late at night, sometimes even in the middle of the night, where the victim often expressed her sadness.

"I thank him because he wants to bring justice for Laura. He came for justice for Laura, because he knows Laura, as he was called at 12 midnight, sometimes called at 1 AM, talking and she was crying, a lot," Fahmi said.

For Fahmi, the testimony of witness A is sufficient; Fahmi firmly stated that his testimony is more than enough. "More than enough," Fahmi concluded.
