Worried About Flooding Again, 'Si Doel' Family Evacuates Aminah Cendrakasih

Kapanlagi.com - The flood that hit the residence of veteran actress Aminah Cendrakasih in the Pinang Griya Permai area, Tangerang, has receded. However, Rano Karno and several other actors from SI DOEL ANAK SEKOLAHAN do not want to move the actress playing Mak Nyak back to her house.

Rano Karno is worried that there will be more floods considering that it is still the rainy season for the next few months. He and the other actors agreed to evacuate Mak Nyak to her child's house in the Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang.

"If we move her from the hotel to her house there, I'm afraid. That's why I asked her children not to let Mak Nyak go back to her house there, just stay here. It means it's safer here, there's never any flooding here," Rano Karno said shortly after moving Mak Nyak from the hotel to her child's house on Monday (6/1).

1. Must Be Persuaded

Initially, it was quite difficult to persuade Mak Nyak to temporarily stay at her child's residence. However, after Rano Karno and Mandra intervened, Mak Nyak, who played the role of mother and Mandra's sister in the soap opera SI DOEL ANAK SEKOLAHAN, finally followed their advice.

"Earlier, I said 'Mpok, just stay here for now, if you go there, if there's a flood again, Mpok might get swept away," said Mandra with a thick Betawi accent.

"Alhamdulillah, Mak Nyak listened to what Doel and his sister said," added Rano Karno.

2. Once Became a Flood Victim

It should be noted that Aminah Cendrakasih was one of the flood victims that hit Jakarta and its surroundings at the beginning of 2020. She was successfully evacuated and taken to the nearest hotel.

Mak Nyak also once became a flood victim in 2007 and was temporarily relocated to her child's residence. However, Mak Nyak chose to return to her own house, despite the risk of floods.

"Well, as parents, they're a bit peculiar. Given something nice, sometimes they don't want it," remarked Mandra.
