Kapanlagi.com - Corona pandemic brings concerns to many parties. Including the beautiful presenter Maria Vania. However, she herself has a family in Bandung, her hometown. Because of this pandemic, Maria cannot visit her family and has to stay in Jakarta.

"Well, I'm quite sad about it. Because I'm originally from Bandung, my family is there, so I can't go home. It's been three months since I haven't returned to Bandung because we see that in Jakarta, there are many people affected by COVID," she said when met in Tendean, South Jakarta, Wednesday (22/4/2020).

Nevertheless, she still keeps in touch with her family. Maria never forgets to remind her parents to practice social distancing.

"Every day, I always video call them, ask about their well-being, and remind them about social distancing. They are older, unlike me whose immunity is still good. Don't eat dirty food, okay? I'm always fussy with my family because I love them, so every day I always monitor my parents," she added.

2. Afraid to Meet Family

She admitted that she is afraid to meet her family, especially her parents. This is because Maria is afraid of becoming a carrier of the virus and eventually infecting her parents.

"I'm afraid that even though I may not have COVID symptoms, I could be a carrier. Because my parents are in their 60s. So I prioritize not going home, I sacrifice, to keep my family healthy," she concluded.
