Yulia's legal team outlined several responsibilities that their client had undertaken while working as Diana Pungky's personal assistant. This statement was made when they visited Polda Metro Jaya.
“What we know is that based on our evidence, our client has previously provided, Diana Pungky, sister Diana Pungky has previously granted a power of attorney to sister Yulia, that is our client,” said Septiadi Maulidin, Yulia's legal counsel, when met at Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday (29/7/2026).
In addition to mentioning the existence of the power of attorney, Yulia's side also elaborated on the trust built over years within the family circle of Diana Pungky.

Maxi Karepu explained that the power of attorney once held by Yulia covers household matters to financial issues concerning Diana Pungky's family. According to him, the mandate shows that there has been a long-standing trust established.
“The power of attorney is related to household management and financial matters. This means there is trust that has developed there. In fact, as mentioned earlier, it has been quite a long time since '93, when Diana Pungky was still a teenager because of '93,” said Maxi.
He added that the professional relationship began when Yulia worked for Diana Pungky's father and continued after the father passed away. The family's trust is said to have been passed on to Yulia.
“Then a good relationship developed, that is why from the beginning with her father, his trust in our client Mrs. Yulia was then continued to Diana Pungky after he passed away,” he continued.

In addition to the formal mandate through a power of attorney, Yulia is said to also handle the daily needs of the family in her position as a personal assistant. The management of household needs is described as taking place over a long period of time.
“Yes, all needs. So whatever is needed, no matter how small, Ms. Yulia takes care of it, you know. This includes the family, one of whom is Diana Pungky,” said Maxi.
However, Yulia's side stated that the long-established working relationship has now led to legal proceedings. They expressed that they are still open to resolving the matter amicably.
“Actually, our client really wants this issue to be resolved amicably. However, again, the fact is that on July 1, 2024, Ms. Diana Pungky reported to the Metro Jaya Police,” concluded Maxi.
