Being a parent is certainly not an easy thing for Danang DA and Hemas Nura. During the interview, Danang admitted that the question about readiness to become a parent is very heavy and full of responsibility.

“Preparing to be a parent is a heavy question, whether ready or not it has to be heavy. God gives blessings according to our prayers, granting us healthy offspring both physically and spiritually, without lacking anything, who can make us happy and make us responsible people,” said Danang with a trembling voice until he shed tears. Danang expressed that he never demanded his child to be the best. However, he prays to be a responsible parent and able to provide welfare for his beloved child.

“I do not demand this child, but I pray to make me a responsible parent and to prosper this child. This is a blessing from God, so what should we provide for our child so that our child becomes something. How can we demand to be the best if we do not give the best,” he said.

Regarding baby supplies preparation, the wife admitted that they haven't shopped at all. Danang added that friends actually discouraged them from buying items, because they want to help by providing the necessary supplies. “We haven't shopped at all,” said Hemas.

"My friends forbade me from shopping, asking me to make a list of what I need, and they want to give it. Masya Allah, it's not being greedy, but we are confused and afraid of being a burden. They want to give what I don't have so it will be useful. Yes, they asked what I haven't bought, well, I haven't bought everything," Danang explained.

Danang also shared his journey of 2.5 years in a long-distance relationship with Hemas between Yogyakarta and Jakarta. He admitted that he once blamed himself for demanding that his wife get pregnant quickly, even though that is God's matter.

"Yesterday, I was in a long-distance relationship with Nura for 2.5 years, going back and forth between Yogyakarta and Jakarta. She was stressed because she had to study, okay, I can feel all of that. I once fought with my wife, saying she wasn't praying for her to get pregnant. She said I didn't understand when she should get pregnant," he reminisced.

Hemas added that during the pregnancy, Danang was very attentive and always prioritized his wife, especially when she felt uncomfortable.

“He feels guilty it seems because he has been demanding. Every night I wake up during the pregnancy, he wakes up asking me what’s wrong. And the doctor, whenever he had work, always prioritized me, which made me very happy,” she said.
