Saipul Jamil after three days of staying at the police office finally can breathe a sigh of relief. On Monday, January 5, 2024, this 43-year-old man was released because he was declared drug-free after undergoing urine and hair tests.
Of course, this incident was not easy for Saipul Jamil. When met after leaving the police station,
he admitted that he was a little tired after undergoing various examinations. The ex-husband of Dewi Perssik revealed that during the examination, he couldn't sleep peacefully.
However, thanks to the support and prayers of loved ones, he was able to overcome something he never wanted.
"To be honest, I couldn't sleep during this investigation in the investigator's room. So I couldn't sleep, just sat there. But thank God, there are many friends here who give support. Fortunately, I am a Muslim, I can pray five times a day," said Saipul Jamil.
"But what makes me sad is that I couldn't pray in congregation at the mosque. So, God willing, I will return to praying in congregation at the mosque," he continued.
He expresses his gratitude even more because he believes that his tiredness is finally paid off with his freedom today. He also emphasized that he never touched those prohibited items at all.
"Alhamdulillah, capek itu terbayar hari ini, saya bisa bebas. Saya memang bener-bener bersih dari penyalahgunaan narkoba," ujarnya.
Selain itu, Saipul Jamil pun menyayangkan perbuatan sang asisten yang rupanya mengkonsumsi narkoba. Saat ditanya lebih lanjut, Saipul mengaku bahwa sebelumnya ia tak tahu bahwa asistennya mengkonsumsi narkoba.
"Saya mendoakan semoga, kan asisten saya ini pemakai, jadi semoga bisa direhabilitasi. Saya juga nggak percaya dia pemakai, baru tahu kejadian kemarin," tukasnya.
