Accused of Copyright Violation, Lesti Kejora's Party Asks the Public Not to Be Provoked by Conflicting Issues

Kapanlagi.com - The name Lesti Kejora is currently in the spotlight after being reported to the Metro Jaya Police by Yoni Dores for alleged copyright infringement. This case involves the use of several songs created by Yoni Dores that are claimed to have been covered without permission and uploaded to YouTube.

The report was filed on May 19, 2025, and includes several song titles, including Cinta Bukanlah Kapal and Bagai Ranting Yang Kering, which are alleged to have been performed by Lesti since 2017.

Lesti Kejora's attorney, Sadrakh Seskoadi, has finally spoken out regarding this controversy. He urged all parties to act wisely and wait for the ongoing legal process.

"Through this explanation, we as the legal representatives of Ms. Lesti Kejora ask all parties to wait for further clarity on the developments of this case so that it does not become a confusing and unaccountable news report," said Sadrakh in a written statement on Thursday (22/5/2025).

He emphasized that his side is still in the process of studying the report submitted by Yoni Dores to the police. They have not yet provided a substantial response before obtaining complete information. The legal counsel also reminded the public not to rush to conclusions that could tarnish his client's reputation.

Sadrakh mentioned that until now they are still gathering relevant information and data related to the allegations. The clarification process is still ongoing.

2. Wait for Information from the Police

He also emphasized that all actions taken by his side will be in accordance with legal procedures and not based on emotions. The Lesti Kejora side hopes that this case can be addressed with a cool head and that they will wait for the official investigation results from the authorities.

Currently, there is no further information from the police regarding the status of the report in question, including whether Lesti Kejora will be summoned soon for questioning.
