Admit Vocal Retake Nine Times, 10 Selfi Yamma's Selfie Pictures Mention the Song 'Berkali-Kali' Has a Meaning

Certainly, a feeling of gratitude and happiness is felt by this 24-year-old girl. Especially since the song composed by Adibal Sahrul that she sings has received positive responses from fans and the general public.

In this song, there is a lyric fragment taken from an old metaphor, which is 'Because of a single Nila, a jug of milk is ruined'. This part apparently became a favorite lyric of Selfi Yamma.

She believes that this lyric fragment truly has a deep meaning because, according to her, trivial matters may not necessarily be trivialized.

"The meaning of one of the lyrics in this song is something that you consider trivial but turns out it can ruin everything," expressed Selfi Yamma when met at Kapanlagi Youniverse, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (11/6).

"Let it pass as the past, we were once together and then separated, the meaning is really deep for me," she continued. 

When asked further, Selfi Yamma admitted that she did not encounter any difficulties, especially in the process of making the music video. However, she did not deny that she had to re-record the vocals nine times because she felt that something was missing.

"During the recording, I really felt the song, but during the process of making the video clip, it was just normal," she said.

"Yes, we took it nine times because we had to repeat it, because I am quite a perfectionist," she explained.

In addition, after the release of the single Berkali-Kali, Selfi Yamma admitted that she felt relieved. Especially seeing the very positive response from her fans towards her work.

"I really noticed when fans commented that it's been a long time since they listened to classical vibes. When Khoda's song came out, the competition in the song was really felt and it felt so classic," he concluded.
