In a moment of happiness over the birth of their first child, the couple Danang Pradana and Hemas Nura went through a rather dramatic delivery process. Nura, affectionately known as Hemas Nura, initially had a strong desire to give birth naturally.
The struggle began when Nura experienced contractions and was taken to the hospital. The effort for a normal delivery was made, in line with the great hopes she and Danang had from the beginning.
According to the doctor, Nura and Danang really wanted a normal delivery. However, after going through the induction process to speed up dilation, the delivery did not proceed as hoped.
The process of natural delivery is slow and the baby's position is changing, making it risky if a normal delivery is forced. Facing this situation, the medical team provided the best option for the safety of both the mother and the baby.
The decision to switch to a cesarean operation was ultimately made. Danang explained that this decision was made after considering all risks, as the safety of the child is the top priority.
"If it turns out that we injure the child, which we are worried about, we finally made the decision to just switch, so we did the operation right then and there," he explained when met in the Karawaci area on Tuesday (22/7/2025).
Although she felt she had gone through a long struggle with induction, Nura accepted the decision with an open heart.
"Why did I go through induction yesterday? I should have just given birth right away," Nura joked, reminiscing about the moment.
For Danang and Nura, the most important thing is the health and safety of their daughter. The process they went through is a testament to a mother's struggle and the full support of a husband. They are both grateful that the operation went smoothly and now they can hold their beloved daughter in good health.
