Aida Saskia's Confession, Embarrassed in Front of Friends and Parents After the Wedding Was Canceled

The life of dangdut singer Aida Saskia is indeed full of ups and downs. After fighting cancer, she found a soulmate that made her confident to step into marriage. Unfortunately, that beautiful plan ended in sorrow.

Aida candidly admitted that she once called off her wedding to a man she referred to as Joker. Initially, their relationship went well, but over time, the man's true nature began to show.

"When I met Joker, he treated me well at first. There were no incidents like this initially. But as time went on, things became more chaotic, and it became clearer that oh, this is the real Joker," Aida revealed.

What hit Aida the hardest were the insults she received. The man even called her disabled because Aida no longer had breasts due to cancer surgery.

"Whatever Joker says is indeed true, I am disabled. So I just choose to be accepting. There is pain in my heart, but I am not the type to hold grudges. I can forgive someone who has committed domestic violence against me, someone who has hurt me, so how could I not forgive just insults? Even the Prophet was insulted, let alone me, a regular human being," said Aida.

Even though she has forgiven, Aida emphasizes that she will not be able to have an intense relationship like before.

"I will definitely forgive him, but for communication to be like before, that will definitely be different, I choose to keep my distance," she asserted.

Even more sadly, regarding her canceled wedding, Aida had already given the happy news to her friends that she would get married on September 10. In fact, the wedding preparations had already been made, from rings, dress fittings, to catering arrangements.

"I have already informed my close friends. They even called me, 'Hey, is it still happening tomorrow, what's the dress code?'. That's sad, I cried. I also started going home less often because I was embarrassed in front of my parents, what should I say to mom and dad. Everything was already arranged, from buying the rings, fitting the clothes, to catering," she recounted.

Although disappointed, Aida tries to see the positive side of this heavy trial. For her, failing to get married is not the end of everything, but rather a process of maturation.

"I have been tested too much with the trials of life. But I feel that such trials are not something I need to regret, because this is a process of maturation again, a learning experience again. There must be a purpose from God," Aida concluded firmly.
