"The connection is actually as a witness, but you could say I am a victim too, it has impacted me as well, so we are in this together. But we came today to complete what Kak Billar explained yesterday," said Asila Maisa when met at the Metro Jaya Police, Tuesday (11/08/2026).

Although there is no real material loss, Asila feels her mental burden is quite heavy. She is afraid that this slanderous issue will hinder her professional career in the music industry.

"There is no material loss or anything, but over time I am afraid it will disturb my career as well. And the slander is too convoluted and also disrupts my personal life. So it was the right decision for Kak Billar to take this step," she said.

Her lawyer, Sadrakh, stated that this slander has a serious impact. Asila has a professional job and a personal life that has been greatly disturbed due to the fabricated narrative.

"Because Asila, as we know, has a personal life, has her job professionally, has her own income, which certainly is quite disturbing. And it impacts the lives of each family as well," he said.

Lesti Kejora, who accompanied Asila, also chose not to forgive the spreader of the hoax. Lesti is worried that if this issue is left unaddressed, many other accounts will emerge doing the same thing.

"Let's just wait until all the investigations are completed, because if we let it go, we might see many more people following suit," said Lesti.
