Originating from Pontianak, Aulia had to migrate to the capital city to achieve her dreams. While attending an audition in Jakarta, Aulia had to spend the night at the Indosiar mosque.

"I definitely once slept at the mosque of the Indosiar pavilion. So, because we were waiting for a friend (from Pontianak) and it got late, we ended up sleeping there that night. The next morning we looked for accommodation," said Aulia during a live Instagram event with a KapanLagi reporter some time ago.

Aulia then revealed that when she left for the audition in Jakarta, she only had three million rupiah. In fact, that money was supposed to be used by Aulia to register at a university in Pontianak.

"Aulia's savings were 3 million, that (was supposed to be) for Aulia to register for college in Pontianak. Because of encouragement from friends, this money was eventually used to buy tickets, food, and accommodation (during the selection). Well, that three million was just enough in Jakarta," she said.

Aulia admitted that the most unforgettable moment was the sun's heat while waiting to be called into the audition room. "I remember it very well from 7 AM, like fish being dried! So waiting (to be called for the audition) was without a roof. I only got into the tent at 2 PM," said Aulia.

Aulia also mentioned that during the hours of waiting, she couldn't sit down. "Imagine from 7 AM we didn't sit at all, really just standing. I was really dizzy," she continued.

Aulia, who was only 18 at the time, was certainly scared to be alone in the crowd. She made an agreement with her friends from Pontianak to always stick together.

The Dangdut Academy audition at that time was Aulia's first talent search audition. It's understandable that the daughter of Abdul Kadir and Safarida felt nervous and shaky

"Because I felt dizzy from the heat, then my hands trembled, I was nervous, and my heart was racing too," concluded this woman born in 1998.
