Ayu Ting Ting's Story about Bilqis' Development, Teaching Children Firmly - Revealing Having Difficulty Buying Burgers

The personal life of dangdut singer Ayu Ting Ting certainly does not escape public attention. Moments together with family and Bilqis are always shared through her Instagram account. After being proposed to by a TNI member named Lettu Muhammad Fardhana last February, Ayu didn't hesitate to share her affection as well.

Having the opportunity to be a guest star on the TV show Trans 7 OBROLAN TIAP WAKTU on Sunday (19/05), Ayu Ting Ting had a conversation with Kiky Saputri, Nicky Tirta, and Dicky Difie about her daughter Bilqis and also admitted to having difficulty buying burgers while recording during junior high school.

1. Bilqis Always Spoiled

Becoming a single parent and a public figure who always works in front of the screen is certainly not an easy job. Ayu Ting Ting's only daughter named Bilqis Khumairah Razak has now grown into a beautiful, active, and intelligent girl.

When asked by Kiky Saputri about the difficulties she experienced in raising Bilqis and tips and tricks to make children obedient, Ayu Ting Ting's answer actually made the entire studio laugh.

“She's not obedient, she's more afraid, I guess,” Ayu replied amusingly.

“At home, she's spoiled by her father and mother. So the downside of Bilqis is that we have to obey all her wishes. If she asks for A, it has to be there right away,” she added.

2. Admitting to Being a Strict Mother

Continuing the previous conversation, Ayu Ting Ting admitted that she tends to educate her child not to be too spoiled by being firm.

“I can't spoil my child. I'm much stricter, fierce, and talkative at home. So if she's wrong, I still scold and tell her in a good way. The important thing is not to use physical force,” Ayu said.

“When it comes to children, there has to be a strict side, but not too harsh. If I have time, I will prioritize her as much as possible,” she added.

3. Teasing the Mother

The close relationship between Ayu and Bilqis as mother and daughter is unquestionable. They always appear as besties who are always together. Starting from traveling, singing, watching concerts, and also making TikToks. Ayu also revealed that Bilqis can already tease her.

"When I'm upset, she can already tease me... 'Aw, why are you upset?' said Ayu.

4. Having to Collect Money When Buying a Burger

When serving a dish for Ayu Ting Ting, Nicky Tirta intentionally made a special burger for Ayu because he has special memories about burgers.

Ayu explained, "The story about the burger is true. So when I was recording in 2006, my mother went back and forth from Depok to Pluit by train. There was a burger shop there. Every time I wanted to record, if I was hungry, I would crave a burger. Then my father and mother would collect spare change every time I wanted to buy a burger."

5. Umi Kalsum Once Fell

Ayu Ting Ting's mother, Umi Kalsum, once fell when she mistakenly boarded a train a few years ago. Ayu recounted the incident when her mother boarded a train bound for Bogor, not Depok.

"So my mother immediately got off and switched to the next train. Because there was little time, when she boarded the train bound for Depok, my mother fell because she was running around."

"From there, I thought that no matter what, I have to succeed. I have to buy a vehicle for my parents to make it easier for them in the future. So now, if someone asks for a burger, I will definitely buy it for them," said Ayu Ting Ting proudly.
