This son of Rhoma Irama was supposed to be released on March 9, 2020. However, he received parole so he could breathe the free air two months earlier.

"Today, on January 8, 2020, our brother Mas Ridho is undergoing an integration development program, namely parole. He was released because he received the parole program, so he can breathe the free air, return to his family and society," said Masjuno, the Head of the Detention Center, when met at Salemba Detention Center, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (8/1/2020).

"He should have been released on March 9, 2020, but because of the parole program, which means an integration program, he was released today, approximately two months earlier. And as you can see, Mas Ridho is healthy. So, welcome back to society, returning to normal life with his family," he added.

During the detention period, Ridho Rhoma was revealed to have behaved very well. This two-month early release is a reward for such behavior.

"This freedom is certainly because the requirements have been fulfilled; administrative requirements and substantive requirements. The substantive requirement refers to behaving well, participating in rehabilitation programs, not committing any violations, this is the reward given to him to obtain parole," said Masjuno.

Ridho Rhoma revealed that he already knew he would be released two months early. He obtained this information when he received the decision letter at the end of last year. It's no wonder that since yesterday, the singer of the song "Kerinduan" has had trouble sleeping.

"I knew when the decision letter was issued in December, with the help of lawyers who assisted in the process. (Being released) is definitely a blessing, very happy. I couldn't sleep since yesterday. It's a bit difficult," said Ridho.
