Dewi Perssik Responds to Rumors Claiming She is in Conflict with Irish Bella

On this occasion, the woman affectionately known as Depe emphasized that her relationship with Irish Bella is just fine. She denied any conflict or tension, explaining that the two have not had the chance to communicate due to their respective busyness in the entertainment world.

"There’s nothing. In fact, the reason is that, even though Kak Irish herself hasn’t contacted me either, I also haven’t reached out because I’ve been busy. Maybe she’s busy too," said Dewi Perssik when met in the Tendean area of South Jakarta recently.

Depe realizes that as a public figure, Irish Bella may already understand how the negative issues that often circulate on social media work, which is why she chooses to remain silent. However, Depe feels a moral responsibility to clarify the matter so that the public does not continue to be misled by false news that puts her in a bad light.

"Yes, maybe he understands that hoaxes don't need to be entertained, maybe it's like that. But for me, I have to inform because after all, the Indonesian people are not all the same; if we look at the comments, it means that more people believe in the hoax news," explained Depe.

Furthermore, Depe's decision to actively clarify is not just to defend herself. "So whether I like it or not, I have to clarify. Not for anything, but to protect my extended family as well, that I also have a mother whose feelings I need to safeguard so that they are at ease, that there is no problem here and I am safe here, like that," she explained.

In response to the numerous attacks of hoaxes that have been coming lately, Depe tries to handle it with a cool head. "Well, I don’t know how to explain it. Maybe it’s because I’m too passionate. I’ll just take it positively, Mas. The important thing is that I have clarified it well," she said with a bittersweet smile.

Even though she tries to stay calm, Depe does not deny her feeling of sadness seeing netizens' comments that have crossed the line of ethics. "But if they continue to insist, then there is no other way, it means they probably want to take legal action. But as long as I have clarified that it is not true, then that's it," she said.

"Because there, I feel very sad that people are talking about me using that, using foul language to personal matters, about Covid and other things," concluded Dewi Perssik.
