Did Not Pass the Final Audition of Dangdut Academy 8, Alfian from Bone Acknowledges the Competition is Very Tight

Kapanlagi.com - Alfian's journey, a participant from Bone, in Dangdut Academy 8 must end at the Final Audition Group 1 stage. His name was not included in the list of participants who successfully advanced to the next stage after the selection process was completed.

Before the results were announced, Alfian shared his story about the struggles he faced while participating in the talent search event. He admitted that he had prepared himself to accept whatever decision the judges made, considering the competition in the Final Audition was very tight.

Although he ultimately did not manage to go further, Alfian still showed his confidence in delivering his best performance with the abilities he possesses.

1. Repeated Failures Don't Make Him Stop Trying

Alfian revealed that the journey to the Dangdut Academy stage was not always smooth. He experienced several failures while participating in talent search competitions before finally trying again.

"At first, I felt hopeless because I had tried several times but always failed. But with strong determination and intent, I always tried again," Alfian said when met at the Indosiar Studio in Jakarta on Monday (29/6/2026).

He also mentioned that he had prepared himself mentally to accept any outcome. For him, passing or not is part of the process that must be undergone.

"If I stop, maybe it's just not my fortune. But I hope to pass to the next stage. Amen, O Allah," he said.

2. Choose to Focus on Your Own Abilities

As he approached his performance, Alfian assessed that all participants in the Group 1 Final Audition had good vocal qualities. Therefore, he chose not to compare himself with other participants.

"It’s actually very competitive, because their voices are all good. But we just need to be confident in ourselves," he said.

Alfian added that every singer has a different vocal character. According to him, the judges' evaluations are not always the same, so maintaining self-confidence is important during performances.

"With the quality that I have, I must be confident. We are all different, and the judges' perspectives are also different. That's why we have to be confident in our own quality," he concluded.

3. Six Participants Advance to the Next Round

The Final Audition results for Group 1 have determined six participants who are entitled to continue their journey in Dangdut Academy 8. They are Delira (Garut), Ikhwan (Polewali Mandar), Khinan (Surabaya), Kiara (Musi Rawas), Niswah (Pemalang), and Razky (Pekanbaru).

Meanwhile, Alfian must end his journey in the Final Audition and has not succeeded in securing a ticket to the next stage of the Dangdut Academy 8 competition.
