The 29th anniversary celebration of Indosiar apparently once again presented various entertainment that delighted the eyes of the general public. One of the most attention-grabbing stage performances was the special collaboration between Iwan Fals and Lesti Kejora.
It was the first time they performed together, like this moment when Lesti and Iwan Fals met backstage.
When met after his performance at Studio 6 Emtek City, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Wednesday night (10/1), Iwan Fals shared his excitement about dueting with Lesti Kejora. For him, it was a new experience to perform the song Ikan Dalam Kolam during a live performance.
Although famous for a different music genre. Even so, the singer of the song 'Pesawat Tempur' had no difficulty in performing the song 'Ikan dalam Kolam'.
In addition, Iwan Fals also admitted that he felt the energy of Lesti Kejora when they both performed the song. He also admitted that dangdut music is already in his blood.
"Alhamdulillah, yeah, it's great. And there's no difficulty, because of learning and practice. This is Lesti's world. So, I also feel the energy," said Iwan Fals.
Meanwhile, for Lesti herself, being able to sing with one of the legendary musicians of the homeland has been a dream that she has cherished since she was a child.
"From the time Dede was still a young girl, her hair was this short," said Lesti Kejora when interviewed together with Iwan Fals.
Not only performing together, Lesti Kejora was also made even happier because the living legend of music in Indonesia performed her song titled 'Terkesan'. For her, this is truly something very special.
"And what's even more special, what makes me proud, Uncle Iwan sang the song 'Terkesan'. Wow, I was really happy about that," said the 24-year-old dangdut singer.
