The highlight of the Dhaup Ageng Pura Pakualaman Jogja event is the solemnization of marriage between BPH Kusumo Kuntonugroho and dr Laily Annisa Kusumastuti. The marriage ceremony took place at Masjid Agung Pakualaman and was attended by both families on Wednesday, (10/1).
After the solemnization, the couple performed the temu manten procession. It was then followed by a reception attended by many special guests, including kings from all over Nusantara.

After the marriage ceremony, the couple's entourage returned to the Pakualaman Temple area. The groom's party walked from the mosque to the Pakualaman Temple.
For the marriage ceremony, BPH Kusumo Kuntonugroho appeared handsome wearing a traditional Javanese formal attire and a specially designed sarong by his mother.
Meanwhile, the bride used an electric car to return to the Pakualaman Temple while the groom walked on foot.
After the wedding ceremony, a meeting event was held at Pura Pakualaman. In this event, the bride and groom wore elegant traditional Javanese attire called dodotan.
The panggih or meeting event took place solemnly at Pura Pakualaman, witnessed by both families.
The wedding ceremony and panggih of BPH Kusumo Kuntonugroho and Dr. Laily Annisa Kusumastuti was attended by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X. Throughout the event, he was accompanied by Paku Alam X.
The event was then continued with a reception. Several kings from the archipelago also attended and congratulated the bride and groom.
Raja Mangkunegara Solo, GPH Bhre Cakrahutomo Wira Sudjiwo also attended and congratulated the couple.
