Jennifer Dunn finally speaks out about the news regarding her husband, Faisal Harris, who is implicated in the corruption case of the Social Assistance or Bansos Family Hope Program (PKH) of the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2020 by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

As a wife, Jennifer Dunn admits to being frustrated by the circulating news about her husband.

Not only that, she also expresses disappointment because she knows very well that her husband is still a witness in the case. She also states that there has been no statement whatsoever regarding her husband being accused of breaking the law.

“I am disappointed as a wife,” said Jennifer Dunn when met in the Kebon Sirih area, Jakarta, Wednesday (10/1).

“Why is it blown out of proportion? My husband did nothing wrong. If my husband was guilty, he wouldn't be sitting in front of you now,” she continued.

Jennifer Dunn feels that she knows Faisal Harris well, and she asserts that she has never seen her husband have a tendency to act unlawfully during their time together.

“As a wife, I know my husband's nature and character well. My husband doesn't know anything, there's no connection to anything,” she said.

He assessed that the rumors about the case involving her husband's name have intentional elements from certain individuals. This is because Faisal Harris is currently campaigning for the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI).

"He's currently running for office, then he gets news about corruption in social assistance, can you imagine? His image becomes bad in front of everyone, not just in his electoral district. What will the public think?" she explained.

In addition, Jennifer asserted that the issue involving her husband's name does not have a negative impact on their marriage.

"We are not a fragile marriage that can be easily shaken by news like that. We are becoming stronger to convince all of you that we are not affected by such news. We have done nothing wrong," she concluded.
