Kapanlagi.com - Singer Hamdan ATT has just undergone a blood vessel operation at RS Polri, East Jakarta, after experiencing a ruptured blood vessel.

The operation took place on Monday, October 7, 2024, and Hamdan's condition is now gradually improving. His wife, Hasibah, shared the story of her husband's struggle during his treatment in the hospital.

"Alhamdulillah, he can now respond when talked to. Before, it was very difficult for him to even speak," said Hasibah when met at RS Polri, East Jakarta, on Monday (10/14/2024).

According to him, Hamdan's condition has improved after the surgery, and it is highly likely that he will be allowed to go home in one or two days.

"God willing, in one or two days my father will be able to go home," he said.

Hasibah also mentioned that during more than a week of treatment, the costs of Hamdan ATT's medical care were greatly assisted by BPJS.

"We are always grateful for this because thankfully we still have assistance from BPJS," she said.

However, there are some costs that are not covered by BPJS, especially for expensive medications and detox therapy that Hamdan needs. According to Hasibah, the detox required for Hamdan's condition can be very expensive, depending on the dosage needed.

"Detox sometimes depends on the dosage, it could be five million, or more per month," he explained.

In addition, Hamdan also needs additional medications for his nerves that are not covered by BPJS. "For medications outside of BPJS, I spend around 10 million per month," Hasibah revealed.

Although the uncovered treatment costs are quite large, Hasibah remains grateful because BPJS has helped alleviate their burden significantly.

"Everything, BPJS helps too. It has been helpful with the existence of BPJS. But the expensive medications are not covered like that," she said.

However, with the support of family and maximum care efforts, Hamdan's condition gradually improved. During the treatment, the doctors continuously monitored Hamdan's health progress every day. The recovery process went well, and the doctors stated that the surgery performed was successful and went smoothly.
