Experiencing First Ramadan, Cita Citata's Lover Shares Feeling Thirsty

Kapanlagi.com - Lover and future husband of Cita Citata, Roy Maher Geurts, performed his first fasting after converting to Islam. Although he spent his first Ramadan at home, Roy has started to feel comfortable fasting.

Unlike Roy who prefers working from home, Cita Citata wants to go out during fasting, "Just work. He's in front of his laptop every day. He has felt comfortable. I just can't stay at home. I want to go here and there, I'm just itching."

However, Roy, who knows the importance of suhoor during fasting, once told Cita Citata that he felt weak due to thirst, "He gets really thirsty. During suhoor, he drinks a lot of protein, broccoli, and everything. He emphasizes the importance of drinking during suhoor."

Because he is still in the learning stage, Roy likes to ask for input from Cita Citata. However, this beautiful singer admits that her boyfriend is quite stubborn when it comes to religion. As a result, Cita Citata often asks her partner to find out what he thinks is good.

"He is quite stubborn. So if I tell him, I don't want to be too pushy about religion either. So I ask him to find out for himself what he thinks is good.. I tell him but I don't push it. Let him find out for himself," said Cita Citata when met in Jakarta, Tuesday (28/4).

When asked about her wedding plans, Cita Citata admitted that she couldn't make a decision before having a discussion with her partner's family in the Netherlands. Therefore, she asks for prayers for the smoothness of her marriage affairs.

"I don't know. I have to respect his family in the Netherlands. He wants to see his child get married because it's sacred. So we have to find a solution first and can't make a decision on our own. Because marriage is not just between two people, but involves both families. So just pray," she concluded.
