Kapanlagi.com - It cannot be denied that the late Didi Kempot has made a significant contribution to the campursari music movement in the country. Thanks to him, campursari songs are now contemporary and loved by the public. Some of the reasons are because the lyrics in his songs represent the public's feelings, while the music is enjoyable to sing along to.
Even other artists acknowledge the phenomenon created by the Godfather of Broken Heart, such as Iis Dahlia.
"Mas Didi is a humble person despite having a big name. He has many fans. And in my opinion, he is a genius in creating Javanese songs. People all over the world, even those who don't understand Indonesian or Javanese, can memorize his songs," said Iis Dahlia during a concert on GTV a few months ago (30/08/20).
