"Really? I just adjust it. Whenever I go abroad, I always make sure to organize my clothes from home," said Ayu when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (14/4/2025).
The singer from Depok admitted that she had prepared all her clothes from home. This way, she doesn't have to worry about choosing outfits every day while abroad.
"So on the first day, I wear this, on the second day, I wear that. Those are my child's clothes too. So it's nice, by the time we get there, we won't be confused about what to wear anymore, everything has been arranged," she said.
Ayu also explained that the inspiration for her and Bilqis's clothing styles can come from various sources. Even her daughter often helps decide what style to wear. "Sometimes we look for inspiration on Pinterest. Or sometimes we look at our favorite idols, right? We search around," said Ayu.
Not only from herself, Bilqis often gives input about the clothes she wants to wear. Ayu adjusts to what is available and suitable for them.
"Sometimes Bilqis likes to request all styles like this. The style we look for is really just when we happen to find the clothes," she continued.
Regarding Japanese fashion, Ayu admitted that she really likes the way people dress there. However, she didn't have time to hunt for local fashion items because she was focused on vacationing with her child.
"It's really cool. But we didn't have time to shop. If we had time to shop for Japanese clothes, we haven't shopped there yet, haven't had the chance," she said.
On the contrary, Ayu prefers to spend her time and money on buying toys for the kids. For her, the happiness of the children is far more important during the vacation. "That's why I only shopped for children's toys at Disney," she added.
Although not satisfied yet, Ayu admitted she wants to return to Japan another time. She hopes to continue being given the opportunity to travel with her family. "It's addictive. Amen, God willing, if there is money, the fortune. For us, we want to go abroad every day," Ayu concluded.
