Father Passes Away Due to Heart Disease, Nassar Reveals Unfulfilled Desire for Umrah and Staycation Together

Kapanlagi.com - Without realizing it, Eid is just around the corner. However, there is a big difference felt by dangdut singer Nassar Sungkar, because he has to go through this moment without the presence of his father.

As is known, Nassar's father named Ahmad Hasan Sungkar passed away at the age of sixty-seven on March 29th. The cause of death was heart disease.

"That's what I can't wrap my head around. Last year (during Eid) I was sick, and this year my father passed away. Just follow what Allah wants if it's already fate," said Nassar when met at his residence in Bogor, West Java, recently.

1. Wanting Umrah with the Whole Family

The passing of his father made Nassar sad. Especially since there was a desire that had not been fulfilled, namely Umrah and a staycation with the extended family without being disturbed by work.

"Every Ramadan, I always tell my father, mother, and siblings that I want to be like other families who can go on Umrah together, staycation together without any interruptions. But maybe God has a different and better plan for me, that's why I can never be like that. So now, it's okay," explained Nassar.

2. Had a Conversation Before Passing Away

A few hours before Ahmad Hasan Sungkar passed away, Nassar had a conversation and joked around in the hospital. Who would have thought that shortly after saying goodbye to go back to the apartment to rest, his father took his last breath.

"The night before he passed away, we were still talking. I saw his saturation level was at ninety-nine, which was really good. At around two o'clock, someone came up to the unit because he had access. He knocked on the door like he knew something. He said, 'Please be patient, sir, Abah has passed away.' I asked, 'Who is Abah?' Because it was strange, shocking, I couldn't say anything," recalled Nassar.
