The Covid-19 Pandemic Brings Its Own Wisdom to Gunawan LIDA
Gunawan said that when the competition temporarily stopped due to the pandemic, he had the opportunity to learn so that his performance could be better.
Kapanlagi.com - Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indonesian Dangdut League (LIDA) competition had to continue despite the absence of an audience in the studio. This is because the government's health protocols do not recommend the presence of crowds, so the audience and supporters of each participant are not present.
In a live session with Kapanlagi Jaga Jarak on Wednesday (4/11), Gunawan, who was the Runner Up of LIDA 2020, admitted that it had a significant impact on his performance.
According to him, the presence of spectators and supporters greatly helps him to eliminate nervousness when performing on stage.
"It is very influential if there are no spectators, it's better to have spectators.
Not only Gunawan but also other participants feel the same way," Gunawan said.
"The difference between having spectators and not having them is noticeable. Because when performing, many participants make the same mistakes," he continued.
Gunawan admitted that during the competition, he and other participants had a discussion about the different atmosphere they felt on stage. Apparently, the absence of spectators made them even more nervous.
"That's why we had a discussion about the reasons behind it, oh it turns out we are more nervous, because how is it when there are spectators, when we are nervous, they will surely encourage us, so we become more motivated because spectators are a source of motivation for us," he concluded.
Seeing the ongoing pandemic situation that has not yet ended, many people are trying to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 from becoming more widespread. One of them is by implementing health protocols.
#RememberMother'sMessage, diligently wash hands with soap, wear a mask when traveling, and avoid crowded places. Let's remind each other so that this pandemic can end soon.
