Inul Daratista Now More Selective in Choosing Employees After Theft at Her Business

Kapanlagi.com - The singer and entrepreneur Inul Daratista revealed that she is always careful in selecting employees, especially for her karaoke business, Inul Vista. She claimed to have high standards in recruiting and retaining staff.

"I have always been selective, if someone doesn't fit, they are out in 3 or 6 months. If they don't fit, they are out in 3 months, 6 months, they're gone," said Inul Daratista when met in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (27/11/2024).

Although she rarely comes to the office, she ensures that operational activities run smoothly through regular communication with her employees.

"I am very, how should I say, very meticulous. I rarely go to the office, but my employees always talk every day to check on things," she said.

"I go to the office when I really want to, if there is a problem or if I want to chat with employees," she added.

1. Already Forgiven, But...

Regarding the theft case involving his former employee, Leon Tada, Inul admitted that she has forgiven him but still leaves the legal process to the court. However, she emphasized that she will not accept the perpetrator back to work at her place.

"Yes, actually I have forgiven him because the situation is like that, he has already been into drugs, partying, and all that, he will definitely drift away, disappear, and won't come back, so just forgive him, don’t come here again. If he has already received a stamp for how many years, just enjoy it," said Inul.

2. Surrender

Inul hopes that the punishment received by the defendant can provide a lesson. Although she is disappointed because the stolen items cannot be returned, she chooses to surrender to the legal decision.

"If he doesn’t repent, then that’s it. The important thing is don’t step into my place again. It’s okay, I forgive whatever the prosecutor gives, and the punishment he has received might be the payoff. Because I actually want my items back, since they didn’t come back, well, he has received his punishment, so that’s okay," she said.

3. Do Not Give Excessive Demands

She also mentioned that she does not want to pressure the prosecutor regarding the severity of the charges filed. Inul hopes that her former employee can become a better person after serving their sentence.

"We're afraid that we might force the prosecutor to raise the charges unnecessarily. It's pitiful for the prosecutor, as they might get questioned by the judge and the prosecutor. So we leave it to the best for him. Hopefully, he will regret it," concluded Inul.
