"Because entering the entertainment world is uncertain, sometimes you barely sleep and have to wake up. So I want my child to have a structured life first, school, normal work," she said in FYP, as reported by the Youtube channel TRANS7 OFFICIAL, on October 9, 2024.

Ira is worried that Yunia will face the same pressures she once experienced. Ira also hopes that her child will focus on education first. She believes that having a good education will provide a strong foundation before entering this challenging industry.

"So my parents directed me to focus on school, my friends invited me to form a girl band, I really wanted to sing, but my parents said to try in the academic field. So I went to high school in the science track. At the end of high school, I said I wanted to sing," said Yunia Syahrie.

Although she does not want Yunia to become a singer, Ira continues to support her daughter's desire to explore various fields. She believes that every individual must find their own path in life and should not feel pressured to follow in their parents' footsteps.
