Lala Widy Reveals Reasons for Not Wanting to Remarry After Divorcing from Husband who is a TNI Member

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Lala Widy is already married and has one child. However, her marriage did not last long. While being a widow, Lala admitted that many men approached her and asked her to marry them. But she chose to remain closed off.

"One year after graduating from high school, I got married and had one child," said Lala Widy in Ancol, Jakarta, on Saturday (1/7/2023).

"Many men proposed to be my husband, but I chose to remain closed off," she continued.

Lala admits that she has not opened her heart and has no desire to get married again, because she still harbors trauma from her previous marriage.

"Well, for now, I just want to enjoy life. Because I'm afraid that if I get married and have children again (and then get divorced), it would be unfair to the children," she said.

She also has concerns that her profession as a singer will make her future husband easily jealous and not allow her to pursue her hobby of singing again.

"As a singer, Lala meets a lot of men. So, how would it be if I get married and have to obey my husband's wishes? If the wife doesn't obey, it would be a sin. So instead of that, let's not rush into it. Lala is still comfortable with singing," she explained.

3. Causes of Divorce

Lala Widy finally revealed the cause of her divorce with her husband. Jealousy issues, according to her, were the main factor.

"There were domestic problems. My ex-husband was a member of the military but I was still singing, accompanied by jealousy," said the woman born in Sidoarjo, East Java, on February 3, 1996.
