Lesti Kejora is Said to be Unaware - The Perpetrator of the Piracy, Legal Counsel Speaks Up

Kapanlagi.com - The case of alleged copyright infringement reported by Ilham Suardi on behalf of Yoni Dores against the dangdut singer Lesti Kejora has been colored by negative statements from the reporter's side. Not remaining silent, Lesti's legal counsel finally spoke up and regretted those statements.

Sadrakh Seskoadi, as Lesti Kejora's legal counsel, believes that several statements from Yoni Dores, his assistant, and his legal counsel are no longer in accordance with ethics. He mentioned that Lesti was accused of being unaware, uncivilized, and a perpetrator of piracy.

"On this occasion, we also regret Mr. Yoni Dores, his assistant, and his legal counsel for stating that Lesti Kejora is unaware, uncivilized, a perpetrator of piracy, and other very inappropriate words," said Sadrakh when met in the Serengseng area, West Jakarta, on Monday (16/6/2025).

Sadrakh urged all parties to restrain themselves and respect the legal process. He reminded that all public statements will be recorded in the news and could have legal implications if not conveyed wisely.

"Mr. Yoni Dores and his team should not need to make such statements because the process is still ongoing," he asserted.

He added that as legal practitioners, the reporting party should maintain their statements in the public sphere to avoid creating damaging perceptions and worsening the situation.

"Because every word spoken is recorded in the news," he said.

1. Consider Taking Legal Action

When asked whether his party would take legal action regarding the accusatory and insulting statements, Sadrakh has not given a definitive answer. However, he opened the possibility if the situation continues to escalate negatively.

"Until now, we have not talked about taking legal action, but it could be interpreted later as I have mentioned earlier," said Sadrakh.

2. Never Opposing Yoni Dores

Sadrakh also emphasized that Lesti's side never referred to Yoni Dores as an enemy, and communication can still be opened at any time. He stated he is ready to attend a meeting if facilitated by the relevant authorities.

"Please, if you want to communicate. There have been many from the institutions who want to facilitate a meeting, and that is very positive. We are ready," he said.

3. Lesti Focused on Work

Lesti herself is reported to be in good health and remains active at work despite this case emerging. She is even overwhelmed with work and is not mentally affected as previously speculated.

"Oh, Lesti is currently healthy, we can see that on her Instagram. She is busy with her activities, has many jobs, I think that does not affect her," Sadrakh concluded.
