"As for the shipping, that's just a normal thing, because I actually take advantage of the shipping with Ayu. I mean, it's just fun to see people getting excited, we just laugh together with Ayu," said Andre when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Friday (28/11/2024).
"He and I are really close friends, already good friends, I consider him like my younger brother, and so does Ayu. Not just me, but to Wendy, Andika, Surya, we are like family," added Andre.
Ayu also admitted that she is not disturbed by this phenomenon. For her, as long as the netizens are entertained, that is enough. However, she still appreciates the attention from netizens who follow their career journey
"As for being shipped with someone, I’m already immune to it. It goes in one ear and out the other," said Ayu. Â
"What’s clear is that we are happy. If we can entertain, we are just happy," continued Ayu.
Although they often joke around, Ayu and Andre remain serious in their work. They even hope that this shipping can have a positive impact on their song.
"The important thing is to create. Hopefully, this shipping can make this song a hit," Ayu added.
This collaboration started from their time together in one of the Ramadan programs on television. Â
"It all started because of one program with Mr. Haji, the breaking fast program. We gave them a chance to sing during a few episodes, and it turned out we had chemistry," concluded Ayu Ting Ting.
The song 'Nurlela' can now be listened to on all digital music platforms. As is known, this song was previously popularized by Bing Slamet and is now presented with a new vibe that combines the vocal strength of both.
