Lung Infection and Hospitalized for More than a Month, Cici Paramida Reveals the Chronology of Her Mother's Illness Before Passing Away

The passing of Haji Roesnaedi, the mother of singer Cici Paramida and Siti KDI, has left a deep sorrow. The mother took her last breath after being hospitalized.

Cici revealed that initially her mother only complained of a regular cough. However, that complaint then developed into more serious symptoms. "Yes, my mother was sick at first, we didn't expect that her illness would fall into the severe category, as initially she only complained of a cough," said Cici.

Shortness of breath symptoms then appeared and the family took her to the doctor during the month of Ramadan.

From the examination results, the doctor recommended an X-ray and stated that the mother was suffering from a lung infection.

"Then on the last day of treatment, there was a complaint of shortness of breath, so we advised her to see a doctor during Ramadan. The doctor at that time said she needed an X-ray and it turned out the mother was indicated to have a lung infection, and it was recommended that she be hospitalized," he continued.

Although she initially refused, the mother eventually agreed to be hospitalized after being persuaded by her children. However, before entering the hospital, she still managed to prepare all her personal needs.

"The doctor advised hospitalization, so she couldn't go home. At that time, my mother actually didn't want to be hospitalized; she just said, 'I'll just repent and rest at home.' But the doctor suggested it, and we, her children, also said, 'Mom, you should be hospitalized to get better quickly.' In the end, she agreed," he explained.

Upon arriving at the hospital, the mother's condition still appeared healthy. In fact, she entered the inpatient room without anyone's assistance.

"And at the time of going to the hospital, after Maghrib, my mother was still walking by herself, still carrying her own clothes, and there were no signs of anything. So we didn't guide her, didn't use a wheelchair," he said.

However, not long after, Cici's mother suddenly lost consciousness. The medical team immediately provided first aid, but from that moment on, she never regained consciousness.

"Finally, they gave her a heart pump, but they said there was still more to do, but it did take a while for her to stop, so that’s what caused her to be unconscious from the moment she arrived until the end of her life," said Cici.
