Motivation for D'Academy 8 Participants: The Story of Evi Masamba Who Was Once Paid Rp 35 Thousand
kapanlagi
Kapanlagi.com - D'Academy 8 will soon begin. In addition to preparing their best performances, participants must come with a strong mentality and never give up. One of the stories of DA alumni that can motivate participants is Evi Masamba.
Evi is one of the gold-voiced dangdut singers. Before becoming famous, she had done various types of jobs to make ends meet.
1. Evi's First Performance Payment
When trying to become a singer and performing at events for others, Evi admitted that the first payment she received was no more than 50 thousand. For her, that was already a significant amount because it could cover her food needs.
"Back then it was 35 thousand, in 2007 or 2006 if I'm not mistaken. 35 thousand was already an incredible amount, sis. It was enough to eat back in the day," she told Nikita Mirzani as reported by Youtube Trans TV Official, (5/2/2020).
2. Motivation to Join DA
Evi Masamba's struggle to be in her current position was also motivated by her desire to prove to her mother, who left her a long time ago.
"My intention to join the competition was because I wanted to let mom know that I'm doing well with my younger sibling. Because mom left me for 16 years if I'm not mistaken," Evi Masamba emphasized.
