"The things that are lacking in Dangdut Academy 7, we will improve, we will fix, and then we will look for new breakthroughs. So that the fans of Dangdut Academy in Indonesia will never get bored," said Harsiwi Achmad when met at the Emtek studio, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Monday (25/5/2026).

The presence of King Nassar as a judge is a strategic step to refresh the competition atmosphere on screen.

"After we discovered the extraordinary potentials of Dangdut Academy 8 in the community, we also want to package it very well. One of the ways is by bringing in King Nassar as a breakthrough from the jury's side," said Harsiwi.

Although the system in the previous season was considered quite good, the production team still does not want to feel satisfied too quickly. They continue to seek new potentials in remote areas of the country to drastically improve the quality of the contestants.
