Syaqirah DA7 Reveals Preparations to Become the Host of Dangdut Academy 8

Kapanlagi.com - The enthusiasm for the talent search event Dangdut Academy 8 (DA 8) is starting to be felt. One of the stars of DA 7, Syaqirah, has provided the latest news that she will be involved in the newest season of the biggest dangdut competition.

Syaqirah admits she is very impatiently waiting for the arrival of new talents who will compete. She hopes the quality of the participants in the eighth season will follow in the footsteps of the success of the winners from previous seasons.

"I'm really excited! I'm very happy if DA8 can start tomorrow. Hopefully, the graduates of Dangdut Academy 8 will be as good as those from Dangdut Academy 7," said Syaqirah when met at the Emtek City Studio, West Jakarta, on Monday (6/8/2026).

In addition to providing support for the prospective participants, Syakila also gave a hint about her new role. She is reported to be testing her skills as a presenter or host in the upcoming DA 8 event.

1. Public Speaking Practice

In order to carry out her new duties, Syaqirah is now focusing on training her speaking skills in front of the Indosiar audience. Mental preparation has become her main focus so that she won't feel awkward when on stage as a host.

"God willing. We will definitely train ourselves again for public speaking, to make it smoother. I'm just really happy," she expressed.

2. Preparation from a Spiritual Perspective

Interestingly, Syaqirah is also undergoing a unique spiritual preparation in accordance with the traditions of her home region in Sulawesi. This is done as a form of prayer for the smoothness and safety of the tasks she will undertake.

"I even want to fast. Not fasting (in the literal sense), but there’s a tradition in Sulawesi that is like a safety ritual, reading prayers for safety. It’s like a celebration, for inner safety," Syaqirah explained.
