Newly Converted, Cita Citata's Foreign Fiancé Has Never Broken His Fast

Kapanlagi.com - Roy Maher Geurts, the partner of Cita Citata, officially converted to Islam on April 19, 2020. Consequently, this Ramadan became the first fasting month for Cita's future husband.

Although it's his first time, Roy seems to have encountered no major obstacles in observing the fasting during Ramadan. He hasn't broken his fast even once.

"Day 19. My beloved hasn't broken his fast. So smart," praised Cita Citata to her partner.

1. Routine Prepare Takjil

Not only motivating and praising Roy, Cita Citata also diligently prepares takjil for her beloved. One of the foods that is always available is dates.

"I have made kolak for him, every time he breaks his fast I give him three dates. The first time he ate dates, he was happy and said, 'why are these so sweet?'. I told him that eating dates is good. As for kolak, it's something unique for him because it's rarely found. In the Netherlands, the food is normal, there is no iftar menu," said Cita Citata when recently met.

2. Different Ramadan

In addition to accompanying Roy, who is fasting for the first time, there is another thing that makes Cita Citata's Ramadan different. That is the existence of the corona virus pandemic, which is currently the enemy of all people.

"This year's trials are very different. Not only me, but everyone is tested with such trials. Maybe it's a test to be more patient. And also, not going back to the hometown," she said.
