Participating in the 29th Anniversary of Indosiar, This is What Happened When Queen of Dangdut Elvy Sukaesih and Rossa Met on One Stage

Kapanlagi.com - This year, one of the favorite TV stations of Indonesian people, Indosiar, celebrates its 29th anniversary. To mark this special day, the Extraordinary Indosiar Concert was held for two consecutive days.

Certainly, this Extraordinary Indosiar Concert was enlivened by famous Indonesian stars, two of whom were Rossa and Queen of Dangdut Elvy Sukaesih. Interestingly, on this occasion, they performed together on one stage.

When met at Studio 6 Emtek City, Daan Mogot, West Jakarta, on Wednesday night (10/1), Rossa admitted to being amazed by Elvy Sukaesih's performance together with her. According to her, Elvy Sukaesih was truly perfect when singing her song Hey Ladies.

"Today I collaborated with the Queen of Dangdut, the one and only Umi Elvy Sukaesih. I'm really happy to be given the opportunity by Indosiar to perform together and Umi sang my song Hey Ladies, it was amazing," said Rossa.

On that occasion, Rossa herself sang a song by Elvy Sukaesih titled Bisik-Bisik Tetangga (Whispering Neighbors). The singer, who is familiarly called Teh Ocha, admitted that she had difficulty performing the song.

"When I sing dangdut songs, I get nervous because I'm not used to singing dangdut," she said.

"It's difficult, I'm confused, dangdut singers are really great. Sometimes dangdut songs are difficult to grasp, it's different from pop, I need a lot of practice," she continued.

Therefore, Rossa said that she was truly amazed and impressed when she shared the stage with Elvy Sukaesih. Moreover, the song Hey Ladies was said to be quite difficult to perform live.

"For me, Umi is amazing, the song Hey Ladies is made more rock, it's quite difficult because the lyrics are very tight, but Umi is extraordinary," she concluded.
