Peace Has Been Made Regarding the Sacrifice, Dewi Perssik Admits Now the Neighborhood Head is the One Managing the Meat Coupons Where She Lives

Kapanlagi.com - The singer Dewi Perssik finally admitted that she has made peace with the neighborhood head in her residential area. The relationship, which had been strained due to issues concerning sacrificial animals, has now improved and is back on track.

Previously, Depe had a misunderstanding with the neighborhood head during the 2023 Idul Adha. The disagreement occurred due to the execution of the distribution of sacrificial animals, which was deemed poorly coordinated.

"Thank God, we have made peace. Actually, this has been the case since last year, but now the neighborhood head has changed, so it's his younger brother, you know," said Dewi Perssik at her residence in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta, on Friday (6/6/2025).

Dewi also mentioned that communication with the new neighborhood head is now running smoothly. She feels more at ease because all matters related to the distribution of the sacrifice are being assisted by the neighborhood head.

"Thank God it's smooth, he also came to the house yesterday. And he is the one managing the coupons. He is also the one taking care of how many people will participate in the slaughter, you know. So, thank God," said the singer of the song Mimpi Manis.

1. Asked Directly by the Neighborhood Head

When asked about her plans for this year's Eid al-Adha, Dewi revealed that the Neighborhood Head had asked her directly. She felt happy to be able to celebrate the sacrificial moment again in Jakarta.

"It's like any other day, but for Eid al-Adha, I can't be sure that next year I will be like this again. Just yesterday, I was asked by the residents here, by the Neighborhood Head, we've been on good terms with the Neighborhood Head," she said.

"So the Neighborhood Head asked, 'Mrs. Depe, will you celebrate Eid al-Adha here or in Jember?', 'Where do you want to be, Sir?', Here, of course,' she continued.

Not only donating sacrificial animals, Dewi also directly participated in the slaughtering and distribution of the meat. She admitted to feeling a unique satisfaction when she could be directly involved.

"Of course, there's a special satisfaction. When I cut the meat myself, it feels like Eid al-Adha, unlike before when others did the cutting, and we just distributed it," said Depe.
